Daphne is 8 months old - and loves smiling for the camera!
This little miss really started becoming her own person in month 7. She is sitting well, eating some table food (so far: Puffs, Cheerios, yogurt melts, shredded cheese, pears, green beans), and napping on a bit more of a consistent schedule (but that schedule is frequently broken). She still wakes up 1-2 times most nights to nurse :( BUT in this last month, she slept totally through the night 3 or 4 times!
Daphne isn't crawling, but she is really trying to figure out how! It's really cute to see her focus on something she wants, and flail all of her arms and legs out to try to get it :) She is rolling with purpose to get where she wants to be, although sometimes she can't quite make it.
She has started to laugh at things she finds funny, besides just when she is tickled. So cute! She is babbling but not saying meaningful words, although she did look right at Jason a couple weeks ago and say, "Hi dada," which made his day :)
Daphne also has 2 teeth now, which I did forget to mention in her 7 month post - they came in right before she turned 7 months old. And she was a pretty miserable teether!
Another note: Daphne's eyes are still blue - we're still wondering if/when they'll change. The girls' eyes were brown by now; Russell's eyes changed from blue to green around 9-10 months.
Love this cutie pie!
